Animassacre was found in 2005 by Simon. The project starts with industrial and hardcore techno instrumentals. Later on, Simon invites Dean as a vocal for the new project and as things got a bit up a notch, they decide to start a band project. Soon Diana joins in as a keyboard player and Animassacre starts its’ first rehearsals and later on, live shows.
In the very first year of existence, Simon manages to collaborate with Zwelwe and create a few outstanding tracks that were spread free throughout the net and the Animassacre front man also remixes a few tracks of German artists like Sonic Violence Experience and Sara Noxx (Later on Wynardtage and May-fly). More remixes and collaborations followed with Bulgarian, German and Czech artists.
In 2006, Animassacre kicks up for the first time on a live show in Varna, Bulgaria, alongside Shemale ZERO. The two bands have a brief history of concerts together due to their connection and will to continue making shows. (Animassacre also remixes Shemale ZERO’s “Fetish Nation” and “Werewolf” tracks) .
During the big pauses in summer 2006, Animassacre bumps into ODP Label, a free net label, whose manager makes ambient music. Animassacre experiments for the first time with ambient music and releases their first CD-R compilation “Sewer Echoes”. After that, the band finishes the single “Eye for Two”, released by ODP. Soon after, Animassacre participates in numerous compilations by ODP and other labels producing gabber tracks, sometimes industrial and finally – EBM/TBM.
As 2007 begins, Shemale ZERO and Animassacre meet once again on stage. This time warming up Siva Six who visit Bulgaria in February. After only 20 days, the band is playing another live to a big festival, this time it is a gabber oriented one, organized by Gabbafreakz.org. As the pressure rises, the band needs to find a label and release their piling tracks. Finally Simon decides to D.I.Y. and release the album by himself in 100-200 copies. However, during the search for distributors, Kai Arnold, part of X-Cem Music & Rupal Records decides to release Animassacre’s debut album: EVOLVE. The preparations are long and so are studio recordings. Album is scheduled for November 2007.
In the summer of 2007, Animassacre appears for the final time to a gabber festival, playing their moderately hardcore industrial tracks. The audience does not seem satisfied with their hybrid/alternative style. Animassacre decides to forsake pure gabber sound and move on to a wider range of music – Industrial Techno (EBM/TBM), but always reminding the listener about their hardcore style with a few gabber bass drums.
In August 2007 Animassacre becomes a band of two. Dean is no longer a constant member of the band and so starts a different sound.
